Dallas is growing on me

I had such a great week and weekend. Greg made his delicious fried rice, game night with BFFs and babies in closets, we made wintery soup and got to serve it in our new bowls that Casey and Joe got us, had dinner and cappuccino at La Duni, had a deep drunken talk over Italian food with The Johnson's, took jell-o shots at the bowling alley, ate lunch with the Howarth twins at The Porch, had fireside readings and crying laughs with Jenny, Andrew and Ian, and I peeled an orange in one peel.

At times, I secretly (and sometimes not-so-secretly) wish that Gregory and I could be living in some cool foreign or exotic city together, just the two of us. But I have to admit, there's something so great about getting to see so many people I love all the time. I love getting to run errands with my girls and have dinner with great friends whenever I want (but I do miss magazine mondays in Fort Worth with Julie).
